COMMITTEES

Our work is organized into program areas and events, with committees led by volunteers, often members of our Board of Directors. If you are interested in getting involved with any of our committees, please email the committee chair and we’ll get you plugged in!

Events

This committee plans and manages both recurring rides (monthly, annually) and developing event partnerships and refining practices used in implementing them. Chairs: Caila Brown and John Bennett

Public Policy

This committee is charged with monitoring local and state infrastructure and policies, and working with government and other organizations to improve conditions for cyclists. Chair: Drew Wade

Education

The education committee plans and produces safe cycling education programs for children and adults. Chair: Brook Serrano

Midnight Garden Ride

This committee plans and produces our most important annual fundraising event, the Midnight Garden Ride. Chairs: Caila Brown and John Bennett

New Standard Cycles

This committee oversees operation of our New Standard Cycles program. Chair: KIm Turner

Development

Develops strategy for financial recruitment efforts and developing sponsorships for critical fundraising events. Potential sources of funds include individual giving, corporate giving, government, foundation grants Chair: Drew Wade
